Initially these were two separate projects along the same rivers in East Belfast, however, the clients from each scheme identified that significant cost savings could be generated if the two were combined. Jackson was commissioned in conjunction with Jacobs to provide early contractor support to combine the flood defence and community projects and advise upon planning, design options and construction methods.
