The works comprised the construction of the Nine wells rail bridge which passes over the mainline Cambridge to London, electrified railway and a farm access track.
The scheme included:
Construction of a 91.75m long, semi integral continuous bridge consisting of three skew spans
Construction of reinforced concrete parapets, abutments, piers, wing walls, pile caps and cast in situ piles
Construction of part of road embankments behind the abutments
