M25 Berry Lane Viaduct

Undertaken as part of our South East Framework for the Highways Agency, the Berry Lane project was undertaken under a formal partnering approach.

Works involved replacement of a sub-standard bridge parapet and required specialist scaffolding together with great care in planning and methodology due to the structure crossing the London Underground track.

Extensive traffic management was necessary to minimise disruption to M25 flows as well as having an accurate programme in place at an early stage to arrange track possessions to carry out the work over LUL.
