Design and construction of waterside development on brownfield site requiring remediation.  Development includes residential, commercial together with trunk road realignment and modification to facilitate access.

JCE was appointed as contractor for the scheme on a price-quality format to work in a partnering contract for the delivery of Section 278 works serving the proposed development and to remediate the plot following contamination arising from historical use.

The works also consisted extensive remodelling of the existing highway to accommodate the increase in traffic generated by the development and to provide suitable accesses into the site.  These too were delivered in a design and build contract, with the highway works being adopted by the local authority.
