South East Structures Framework

The purpose of the framework was to carryout structures schemes in the range £500k to £3.5m, covering HA Areas 3,4,5,6 & 8..

Typical works included under the framework were:

Bridges, bearings/joints, parapets, post-tensioned special inspection, concrete testing, strengthening, BACO parapet upgrade, edge beam strengthening, concrete repairs, gantries, painting, waterproofing, silane impregnation, viaduct upgrading, structural steelwork, structural concrete works, piling, ground anchorages, gabions, traffic management and temporary works.

An example of the sort of works carried out were high containment barriers to the pylons on the QEII Bridge on the M25 at Dartford.
