Five-year contract to carry out navigation structure maintenance, on behalf of the Environment Agency within the Anglian Waterways area.  Working alongside the EA Navigation department, the JCE team’s main focus is to ensure the provision of maintenance to 38 locks on the River Nene and any other lock locations identified by the EA.

Work includes:

• Full lock drain downs and inspections
• Repairs
• Removal of old and installation of new lock components
• Piling
• Bank protection works
