Jackson Civil Engineering are working as part of the supply chain for a Private Finance (PFI) scheme for the Highways Agency.  The PFI team, known as GeneSYS, is headed by Fluor, and includes Mott MacDonald, Alcatel and Peek. 

As part of the enhancement the new GeneSYS team will:

• Provide telecommunications services on a national basis
• Co-ordinate and manage the planning of telecommunications services
• Maintain existing and future telecommunications services
• Upgrade and extend telecommunications services to enable the Agency to expand the network
• Facilitate and manage any commercial third party opportunities
• Provide design and consultancy services
