Recruitment Administrator

Location: Ipswich

An opportunity has arisen for an HR Advisor to join our busy HR and Training Team. As an HR Advisor you will be working in a generalist role to provide HR support to the Senior HR Manager at our head office based in Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities

Booking interviews and emailing confirmations, sending Teams invites if necessary
Obtaining references for all new starters
Managing personnel records in line with GDPR requirements and file checks
Sourcing suitable CVs through searches on CV databases and LinkedIn
Providing feedback following interviews
Blinding all CVs to conceal the backgrounds of job applications. By removing irrelevant information, you're eliminating the likelihood of unconscious biases affecting hiring decisions.
Administration tasks including contracts of employment and induction and new starter paperwork.
Assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Skills Required

You must be enthusiastic and approachable, but also able to speak out when you need to. The successful candidate will be proactive with a can-do attitude and be able to communicate at all levels.
A recruitment background would be preferred but isn’t essential, and a good knowledge of social media would be advantageous. You will be highly-organised, able to work to deadlines and have good attention to detail. Good IT skills (Word and Excel) and previous admin experience are essential.
