Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Adviser – Quality Specialist

Location: Head office, Ipswich

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist to work at our head office in Ipswich. Travel to sites will be required, so a full UK Licence is essential.

Working in partnership with our operations team
Building excellent working relationships with our clients and partners
Inspiring best practice within the company
Driving positive QHSE behaviours
Investigating Cost of poor quality and NCRs and recommending actions to prevent recurrence
Monitoring quality performance

Skills Required

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with good attention to detail who is flexible and willing to multi task and react to work demands with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Some knowledge of the ISO 9001 standards as well as experience internal auditing would be an advantage as would some knowledge and experience of environmental (14001) and health and safety (45001) management systems.
Any knowledge of LEAN improvement techniques would also be beneficial but not essential.
We are not looking for the finished article, this role would suit someone who has some experience in a quality based role (preferably in construction/civil engineering) or an engineer looking to make a move still within the industry, who is now looking to progress their career within an established and experienced team.
