We are now recruiting Civil Engineering Industrial Placements for 2027/8.

Placements are for 12 months. The successful applicant will be working out on site within a project team as an assistant engineer. Guidance and training will be provided, and the placement will be an excellent opportunity to put theory learned at university into practice. For further information visit our website.

The main purpose of the role is to progress the construction process and assist in delivering the project.

Main Duties:

• To assist the engineer with their duties
• To develop an understanding of, and the ability to successfully perform key tasks
• Develop an awareness of company procedures and processes, basic temporary works, construction techniques, materials and plant, and contract / specification types and processes.

Are you the person we are looking for?

 Candidates must be studying a Civil Engineering degree and be based within the region they’re applying for. You will be expected to have a full UK driving licence and will have to complete and safely pass a driver assessment during your induction day.

Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential.
