We are now recruiting for a Site Agent or experienced Sub Agent for our Eastern Region, working on various schemes across the region on either the Environment Agency Navigation Framework or non-Environment Agency work.

Key Responsibilities

Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors.
Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans.
Understand tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets.
Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.
Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors.
Manage design co-ordination.
Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contracts.
Inform, consult, and involve local groups as necessary.
Foster good relations and reputation with clients.
Understand and administer contract change.

Skills Required

We are looking for someone with a real ‘can do’ – ‘will do’ attitude, who is ambitious, a team player and flexible.
Be able to maintain and monitor works against a programme and budget and maintain comprehensive records
Ability to prioritise own workload and able to run multiple complex and non-complex sites
Have compliance with current legislation requirements, including the production and implementation of RAMs and other associated safety/project documentation.
You will have experience in the UK civils sector, working with the NEC form of contract. You must also have a relevant industry qualification (SMSTS or equivalent). You will have significant main contractor civils experience including Earthworks, Drainage and flood defences.
