Jackson upcycles bike shelters
to donate as dugouts
You’ve heard of jumpers for goalposts, well how about bike shelters for dugouts?
When a client asked Jackson to dispose of two old bike shelters, our senior quantity surveyor Adrian Thompson thought he could find a use for them in the local community.
He approached Hanslope Hornets Football Club and a Jackson team upcycled the bike shelters into new dugouts, complete with reinforced concrete bases. In addition, Jackson has also agreed to buy 100 new footballs for the club ahead of the new season.

Teams
Over 150 children and teenagers play for the village club near Milton Keynes. It has 10 teams ranging in age from the Under 6s to Under 18s.
The older age groups and the adult team play their matches on the pitch next to the dugouts, which will provide a sheltered place for both the home and away teams during the colder winter months.
Adrian and Tim

“We provide a safe and fun place for youngsters to come and enjoy their football. We are extremely grateful to Jackson for supplying the dugouts and the generous donation of footballs.”
