Industrial Placement - Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kent / West Sussex

We now recruiting for our 2024/25 Industrial Placements for candidates currently studying a Quantity Surveying degree. Placements are for 12 months. The successful applicant will be working out on site within a project team as an assistant Quantity Surveyor. Guidance and training will be provided and the placement will be an excellent opportunity to put theory learned at University into practice

Key Responsibilities

To assist the QS or Senior QS with their duties
To develop an understanding of, and the ability to successfully perform key tasks
Candidates should develop an awareness of company procedures and processes.
To identify potential risks and evaluate options for control.
To assist with providing evidence for dispute resolutions and analysing sub-contract bids.
To work out on site within a project team as an assistant Quantity Surveyor.

Skills Required

Currently studying a Quantity Surveying degree
Must be based within the are which they are applying for
Possess a full UK driving licence and will be expected to safely pass a driver assessment on the induction day
