Site Agent

Location: Rotherham

We are now recruiting for an experienced Site Agent or Sub Agent for our Northern Region, initially working on a flood Alleviation scheme in Rotherham.

Key Responsibilities

Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors.
Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and Project Management plans.
Understand the tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets – company financial reporting.
Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.
Manage design co-ordination.
Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors.
Inform, consult and involve local groups as necessary.
Promote and ensure all work complies with safety, quality and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.
Understand and administer contract change.

Skills Required

Already experienced as a Site Agent you will have a relevant industry qualification (HND/ HNC/ BEng) or equivalent and an up-to-date SMSTS qualification, and appropriate CSCS card as well as be a temporary works coordinator and Cranes Appointed Person. A First Aid at work qualification is desirable.
You will have experience in the UK civils sector, working with the NEC form of contract. You will have significant main contractor civils experience including earthworks, drainage, structures and flood defences.
Be able to maintain and monitor works against a programme and budget and compile feasibility reports.
Have compliance with current legislation requirements, including the production and implementation of RAMs and other associated safety/project documentation.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
