Team unearths historic harbour wall

A Jackson team working on behalf of the Environment Agency has unearthed a 200-year old wall during work to restore an historic harbour in Gloucestershire.

Working on behalf of West Sussex County Council, Jackson is principal contractor on the project. It involved a design and build upgrade of the existing single carriageway A2300 to a dual carriageway, linking the town of Burgess Hill to the A23/M23.

M25 EMI Waterproofing

Jackson was part of a collaborative team that won a Constructing Excellence Value award for their innovative approach to managing surfacing and waterproofing defects across the entire M25 network.

QEII Bridge Joint Replacement Scheme

Collaborating with client Connect Plus and designer Flint & Neill, the Jackson team was challenged with replacing the movement joints on the iconic QEII Bridge at Dartford, without imposing any daytime lane restrictions or speed limits on motorists.

Orwell Bridge Bearing Replacement

Jackson oversaw the Orwell Bridge Bearing Replacement Programme on this stunning superstructure – a vital link in Suffolk’s road network carrying more than 60,000 vehicles each day.

Ipswich Wet Dock Flood Gates

This project was part of the Environment Agency’s ongoing programme to upgrade Ipswich’s flood defences and one of a number of schemes overseen by Jackson on the town’s waterfront.

Warrior Square Gardens

Through the careful co-ordination of multiple subcontractors, Jackson oversaw the stunning regeneration of Southend’s Warrior Square Gardens – widely-regarded as a cornerstone of the town’s revival. 

Ashford Ring Road

This exciting, award-winning urbanisation project saw Jackson charged with rejuvenating the town centre ring road in Ashford, Kent.
