Through the careful co-ordination of multiple subcontractors, Jackson oversaw the stunning regeneration of Southend’s Warrior Square Gardens – widely-regarded as a cornerstone of the town’s revival. 
This exciting, award-winning urbanisation project saw Jackson charged with rejuvenating the town centre ring road in Ashford, Kent.
This £2.5m undertaking at Dormay Street in Wandsworth was a major enabling works project for the Thames Tideway Tunnel Scheme and involved replacing a section of the river wall that was at high risk of collapsing into the Bell Lane Creek.
Working on behalf of the Environment Agency, Jackson Civil Engineering designed and built over four kilometres of flood defences through the East Sussex port town of Newhaven.
Jackson worked closely with its supply chain partner IMAC to install technology enabling four flood storage reservoirs to operate automatically.
Jackson used this key road scheme to not only improve traffic flows in the transport quarter of Gravesend but also involve local school children in an innovative heritage street art project.
This critical construction scheme to stabilise cliffs on the Essex coast saw the Jackson team bring considerable social value to the project by working with the local community on a number of public initiatives.
Construction of the Beccles Southern Relief Road is notable for the sophisticated drainage works that accompanied it and the raft of ecological protection measures that took place as part of the build.
Jackson was appointed as main contractor on this scheme, which involved a design and build upgrade of the existing single carriageway A2300 to a dual carriageway, linking the Sussex town of Burgess Hill to the A23/M23 strategic road.
